Ghulam Farid Sabri Qawali List

The recognized and distinguished names of Qawwali singers then we never fail to remember the name of Ghulam Farid Sabri. He is one of the famous names in the Qawali sector who belongs to the leading singers of Sabri Brothers. He was born 1930 in a small village of Rohtak that falls in East Punjab. He was the grandson of Mehboob Baksh Ranji who was claimed to the ruler of Music.

His ancestors fall in the category of Sufism that’s why his surname holds the title of Sabri. Ghulam Farid Sabri joined Ustad Kallan Khan for learning the technicalities of Qawali. In a meanwhile all the brothers get into the training of Qawali and soon these brothers were name with the label of Sabri Brothers. The very first Qawali was launched in 1985 named as “Mera Koi Nahin Hai”.

In future the Qaqali with the title of “Bhar de Jholi Meri Ya Mohammad, Tajjdare-Haram and Saqiya Aur Pila” gave them a new and famed name in the industry. This group has even earned a huge name on international standards as well while doing a concert in New York. Some of the Sabri Brothers known Qawalis are below list

A Kalaam of Imam Ahmed Raza Khan that have been highlighted in Persian, Arabic and Punjabi versions as well. Well unfortunately we are no longer filled with the valuable treasure of Qawali recite like Ghulam Farid because he has departed from us on 5th April, 1994 in Liaquatabad. His funeral ceremony was covered with the approx maount of 40,000 people. He has been buried near the garve of his father at Nazimabad. All in all Pakistan can never neglect the services of Ghulam Farid Sabri in showing a new path to the Qawali category.
