Shab-e-barat is one of the blessed nights in Islamic calendar. It is famously known as Laylatul Baraah in Islamic world whereas in India, Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan it is commonly referred as Shab-e-barat. It is the flourished with prayers, blessings, getting and freedom from evil trap. This night has a great importance for Muslims as they bow down on their knees and worship the God throughout the night and apologize for their sins and tribulations in this world.
According to Islam on this holy night God decides the luck and fortunate of his humans on the basis of the performance from last year till now. Muslims undergo with their prayers on 15th Shaban before the arrival of Ramadan. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) stated that if a person fasts during this blessed month for three days and offers Darrood three times at Iftar he will be blessed with forgiveness from all his past sins by Allah and moreover will also be given a place in paradise by sitting on a female camel.
But apart from all that there are certain people whose payers are overlooked on Shab-e-barat if he payers the whole night such as a person who drinks, those who defy their parents, bit biting habit and those who misbehave. Additionally Shab-e-barat has been well known in different countries and numerous names have been given to this sacred night. In Iran and Afghanistan it is named as Nim Shaban, Berat Kandili is for Turkish, Nisf Shaban is for Arabic states and Lailatul Biraat and Lailatul Dua are several known names.

One Should Recite Salah (Durood) On Prophet Muhammad,
Sall-Allahu Alayhi Wa Sallam,
As Many Times As He Can.
The Dhikr Can Also Be Recited While Walking,
Lying On Bed And During Other Hours Of Work Or Leisure.
